Gretchen Sisson, Ph.D., is a qualitative sociologist studying abortion and adoption at Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH) in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at University of California, San Francisco. Her research was cited in the Supreme Court’s dissent in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. She is the author of Relinquished: The Politics of Adoption and the Privilege of American Motherhood.
Danny Kurtzman is a physically disabled actor, model, entrepreneur, and advocate for the disabled community. Today Danny's passion lies in making this world a more powerful place for all disabled individuals by using his platform to spread his disability pride and tell the world that despite being physically disabled that he says "there's nothing wrong with my body." Danny just wrapped his first feature film, Good Bad Things, where he's the main actor alongside the talented Brett Dier and Jessica Parker Kennedy. Jackie Rotman is the Founder and CEO of Center for Intimacy Justice (CIJ). Center for Intimacy Justice has led major investigations - released in over 100 media outlets - revealing how multiple Big Tech platforms systemically censor sexual and reproductive health information serving women and people with vulvas, due to misclassifying this information as "inappropriate." Steph Herold is a researcher at Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health, where she leads the Abortion Onscreen project, studying how abortion is depicted on U.S. television and film. Steph has worked at abortion clinics, abortion funds, and in abortion policy, and has co-authored both peer-reviewed papers grey literature papers on abortion stigma, abortion storytelling, and abortion in popular culture. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times, The American Prospect, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and many other outlets.
Becca Rea-Tucker is a reproductive rights advocate, baker, and author whose work merges activism and dessert. She is the author of the cookbook Baking by Feel and the upcoming The Abortion Companion, a supportive guide for people who have abortions. Through her platform @TheSweetFeminist and Substack A Little Something Sweet, she shares affirmations, resources, and writing that challenges shame and anti-abortion misinformation. Nicoletta Heidegger, MA., MEd, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Sexologist. She specializes in sex therapy as well as Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP).
